A demiboy is someone who feels partially, but not fully, aligned with a male gender identity, often within a nonbinary or gender-diverse framework. A demigirl similarly feels partially aligned with a female gender identity. Both terms use the “demi-” prefix to indicate partial identification rather than complete identification with the binary genders.

The combined label demiboydemigirl is used by some people to express a specific experience of gender that encompasses both demi-male and demi-female elements, or a broader sense of self that integrates aspects of these identities.
