DeltaWellen

DeltaWellen is a term used in German-language scientific writing and in popular media to denote slow brain-wave activity, commonly known in English as delta waves. DeltaWellen as a label reflects the direct translation of delta waves and is sometimes used when discussing brain activity in German texts or by readers familiar with the term.

In neuroscience, delta waves are brain oscillations in the frequency range of about 0.5 to 4 hertz.
