Dashanzi

Dashanzi is a subdistrict in the Chaoyang District of Beijing, China. With an area of approximately 4.8 square kilometers, it is located in the northeastern part of the city. As of 2020, the population of Dashanzi is around 80,000 people.

Historically, Dashanzi was a small village surrounded by farmland and hills. During the construction of the Olympic Village for the 2008 Summer Olympics, the area underwent significant transformation, with many old buildings being demolished and new infrastructure being built.
