Daewoos
Daewoo was a South Korean conglomerate, or chaebol, founded by Kim Woo-choong in 1967. It was once one of the largest business groups in South Korea, with interests spanning manufacturing, construction, finance, and telecommunications. The Daewoo name became particularly well-known internationally through its automotive division, Daewoo Motors, which produced a range of passenger cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles.
