Dadabhai Naoroji was an Indian politician, lawyer, and economist who played a significant role in the Indian independence movement. Born on February 4, 1825, in Mumbai, he was the first Indian to hold a high judicial position in the British administration. Naoroji served as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bombay and was the first Indian to be appointed as a judge in the Bombay High Court.
