DVLED

DVLED stands for Direct View Light Emitting Diode. It refers to a display technology where individual LEDs are used to create the image directly on the screen, rather than using LEDs as a backlight for a separate LCD panel. In a DVLED display, each pixel is made up of one or more small LEDs that emit their own light. This allows for precise control over brightness and color on a per-pixel basis.

This level of control enables DVLED displays to achieve very high contrast ratios and deep black levels, as individual LEDs can be turned off completely. This also contributes to excellent brightness and color accuracy. DVLED technology is often found in large-format video walls and high-end commercial displays, where its ability to create seamless, vibrant images is highly valued. It is also making its way into premium consumer television sets, offering a direct competitor to OLED technology. The manufacturing process for DVLED displays involves mounting thousands or even millions of individual LEDs onto a circuit board, which requires advanced precision engineering.
