DNAregulerende refers to the systems and molecules that regulate DNA-related processes, in particular gene expression. These regulatory mechanisms determine when, where and how much a gene is transcribed, and they also influence DNA replication timing, repair, and chromatin organization. The regulation occurs at multiple levels, including DNA sequence motifs, chromatin structure, and transcriptional machinery.

Regulatory elements in the genome, such as promoters, enhancers, silencers and insulators, act as control regions. Non-coding RNAs can modulate transcription, chromatin state or mRNA stability, adding another layer of regulation.
