Effects and limitations are important. The display title changes only what readers see; it does not alter the page’s real title, URL, or its position in the category system. Some tools, caches, or mobile skins may not consistently reflect the display title, and it should not be used to mislead about the page’s content. Editors should follow project guidelines and avoid overusing the feature on pages where the canonical name is important for disambiguation or search results.
