DEXAeredmények refers to the results obtained from a Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan. DEXA is a widely used medical imaging technique primarily employed to measure bone mineral density (BMD). It utilizes two different X-ray energy levels to differentiate between bone tissue and soft tissue. The scan typically focuses on areas prone to osteoporosis, such as the hip and spine, although other skeletal regions can also be assessed.

The DEXAeredmények provide quantitative data on bone mass, allowing for the assessment of bone health. Key metrics derived from a DEXA scan include T-scores and Z-scores. A T-score compares a patient's BMD to that of an average young, healthy adult of the same sex.
