Czechvar
Czechvar is a lager produced in the Czech Republic. It is brewed by Pivovar České Budějovice, a brewery located in the city of České Budějovice (Budweis). The beer's name is derived from the German name for the city, Budweis, which is "Böhmisch Budweis". This naming has led to a long-standing trademark dispute with the American brewery Anheuser-Busch, which also produces a beer called Budweiser. The Czech beer is often marketed internationally as "Budweiser Budvar" to distinguish it from the American product.
