Csatornázás, or sewerage, refers to the infrastructure and systems designed to collect, transport, and treat wastewater and sewage. It is a crucial aspect of public health and environmental management, as it helps to prevent the spread of diseases and protects water bodies from pollution. The term originates from Hungarian, where "csatorna" means channel or sewer, and "zás" denotes the process or system.
