Crossentries
Crossentries are a type of word puzzle, similar to crosswords, but with a key difference in how clues are presented. In a traditional crossword, clues are given in separate lists, typically labeled "Across" and "Down." In a crossentry puzzle, however, the clue for a word is located directly within the grid, adjacent to the word it defines. This means that instead of looking at a separate list to find the clue, the solver finds the clue in the grid itself and then must locate the corresponding word.
