Cottonpolyester

Cottonpolyester, often called poly-cotton or cotton-poly blend, is a fabric composed of a mix of natural cotton fibers and synthetic polyester fibers. Common blends include 65% cotton/35% polyester or 50%/50%, with other ratios used for specific applications. The aim is to combine the softness and breathability of cotton with the strength, wrinkle resistance, and quick-drying properties of polyester.

The cotton component provides a soft hand and comfort, while polyester adds durability and shape retention.

Fibers are blended before spinning into yarns that may be woven or knitted. Common fabrics include poly-cotton

Uses include apparel (shirts, uniforms, casual wear), bedding, and home furnishings. The blend lowers material cost
