Cortikalt

Cortikalt is a term found in several languages as an adjective describing relations to the cortex. It is commonly used in neuroscience and anatomy to denote structures, regions, or processes that pertain to the cortex, most often the cerebral cortex of the brain. In many English-language texts the equivalent term is cortical, but in other languages cortikalt or its close variants may be used in scholarly writing.
