CoolSculpting
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive medical procedure for body contouring that uses controlled cooling to reduce fat in targeted areas. It relies on cryolipolysis, a process in which fat cells are crystallized and undergo apoptosis while surrounding tissue remains largely unaffected. The treatment is marketed under the CoolSculpting brand and originated with ZELTIQ Aesthetics and later came under Allergan.
