Conseguís

Conseguís is the second-person singular present indicative form of the Spanish verb conseguir in the voseo paradigm, used in Rioplatense Spanish (primarily Argentina and Uruguay). It corresponds to the tú form consigues in standard Spanish.

Conseguir is an irregular verb in the present tense, with forms such as yo consigo, tú consigues, él consigue, nosotros conseguimos, vosotros conseguís, ellos consiguen. In the voseo system, the form for “you obtain” remains in the second person singular but is realized as conseguís, with the stress on the last syllable.

Usage and meaning: conseguis is used to express obtaining, obtaining something, or achieving a result, in informal address with vos. It can appear in questions, statements, and ongoing actions, for example: ¿Qué conseguís con ese empleo? (What do you get with that job?) No consigues nada sin esfuerzo. (You don’t get anything without effort.) In contexts outside Argentina and Uruguay, the equivalent is tú consigues.

Notes: The existence of voseo forms like consiguís is a hallmark of Rioplatense Spanish and related dialects. While vos forms replace tú in those regions, the verb still belongs to the same lexical item as conseguir, and many accompanying verb forms (questions, negative or imperative forms) follow voseo patterns. The standard, non-voseo equivalent of conseguís is consigues.
