Confartigianato

Confartigianato, officially Confartigianato Imprese, is an Italian association that represents artisans and small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide. It coordinates a network of regional and local member organizations and covers a wide range of sectors, including crafts, manufacturing, construction, trade, and services.

Its mission is to defend the interests of artisanal entrepreneurs, promote entrepreneurship, and support the modernization of the sector through training, consulting, and advocacy. It provides services in areas such as labor and tax guidance, business development, digitalization, and access to credit.

Confartigianato engages with government and EU institutions to influence policy on taxation, labor law, regulation, and support for small businesses. It also supports apprenticeships, vocational training, and quality certification programs, and publishes information for members and the public.

Founded in the postwar era, Confartigianato is one of Italy’s major confederations for craftsmen and small enterprises, with a presence across regions and provinces. It operates alongside other national confederations and maintains international links with craft and SME networks.
