Cobalion is a dual‑type Steel/Fighting legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is one of the three members of the Sacred Six, the others being Darkrai, Tornadus, Tornadus‑incarnate, and the twin pair Giratina. Design-wise, Cobalion resembles a humanoid lion with a coat of bright copper metal plating and a mane that glows golden. Its head features a crown‑like crest, and its body is composed of interlocking plates, giving it a warrior‑like aesthetic inspired by medieval armor.

In battle, Cobalion excels at both defense and offense, boasting high Attack and Special Defense stats. Its body is built for resilience, and it can withstand powerful blows while countering with swift, tech‑inspired moves. The Pokémon’s signature move, “Metal Burst,” reflects its nature: a powerful returning blow that shoots back damage received during the same turn, reinforcing its adversary.
