Civicminded

Civicminded is an adjective used to describe a person who is actively concerned with the welfare of their community and who participates in public life. The term is formed from civic and minded, and is commonly written as civic-minded or civic minded. It denotes a disposition toward the public good rather than solely private interests, and is often used to characterize attitudes such as volunteering, voting, attending town meetings, engaging in public discourse, or supporting local institutions.
