Chunsoft

Chunsoft, now known as Spike Chunsoft, is a Japanese video game development and publishing company. Founded in 1984 by Koichi Nakamura, the company initially focused on developing games for Nintendo's Famicom console. Their early work included notable titles such as "Dragon Quest" and "Torneko no Daibōken: Fushigi no Dungeon."

Chunsoft gained significant recognition for its innovations in the adventure game genre, particularly with the "Famicom Tantei Club" series. The company also developed and published popular franchises like "Mystery Dungeon" and "Danganronpa." In 2012, Chunsoft merged with Spike, another Japanese video game company, to form Spike Chunsoft.

The merged entity, Spike Chunsoft, has continued to develop and publish a wide range of games across various platforms, including PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. They are known for their work on role-playing games, visual novels, and action-adventure titles.
