Chizz
Chizz, also known as tartar or dental calculus, is a calcified deposit that forms on the teeth of humans and other animals. It is a hardened form of plaque, a sticky film of bacteria that constantly forms on teeth. When plaque is not removed regularly through brushing and flossing, minerals from saliva begin to deposit into it, leading to calcification. This process can occur both above and below the gum line.
The accumulation of chizz can have several negative effects on oral health. It provides a rough surface
Preventing chizz formation primarily involves good oral hygiene practices. Regular and thorough brushing twice a day
