Chernyshevsk

Chernyshevsk is a town in Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia. It is located on the right bank of the Amur River, at the confluence with the Chernyshevka River, approximately 220 kilometers east of Chita, the administrative center of the krai. The town's economy is primarily based on railway transport and timber processing. Chernyshevsk serves as a significant railway junction on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
