Chamoniard
Chamoniard refers to a native or inhabitant of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, a commune in the Haute-Savoie department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in eastern France. Chamonix is famously situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps, and is a world-renowned center for mountaineering and winter sports. The term "Chamoniard" can be used to describe individuals who have grown up in the valley, or more broadly, anyone who lives in Chamonix.
The identity of a Chamoniard is often closely linked to the unique environment of the Mont Blanc
