Chaim Leib Wissotzky, also known as Chaim Leib Shneerson, was a prominent figure in Hasidic Judaism, born in 1902 in Radin, Austria-Hungary. He was the sixth rebbe of the Satmar dynasty, a Hasidic movement known for its strict adherence to Jewish law and tradition. Wissotzky was known for his deep learning, piety, and humility, qualities that earned him the respect of his followers and the broader Jewish community.

Wissotzky's leadership was marked by a focus on education and Torah study. He established numerous yeshivas, or religious schools, throughout the world, including Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch in Brooklyn, New York, which became one of the largest and most influential yeshivas in the world.
