Centrifugálóke

A centrifugálóke is a Hungarian term that translates to "centrifuge tube" or "centrifuge vial" in English. It refers to a small, usually cylindrical container designed specifically for use in a centrifuge. These tubes are essential laboratory equipment used to separate substances of different densities within a liquid medium.

Centrifugálóke come in various sizes and materials, commonly made from plastic or glass. Plastic versions are often disposable and made of materials like polypropylene, which offers good chemical resistance and durability. Glass centrifugálóke are reusable and may be preferred for certain applications where plastic might leach substances or react with the sample. The design of a centrifugálóke typically includes a sealed cap or stopper to prevent leakage during centrifugation and often a conical or rounded bottom to facilitate the collection of the separated sediment.
