Centralvenösa

Centralvenösa is a fictional administrative region in the kingdom of Nordmark, located in the central Venösa area along the Ven River. The regional capital is Myrstad, and the region comprises five municipalities: Brunnedal, Ekerö, Hellevik, Norlyd and Vikefjord.

The landscape combines rolling farmland, mixed forests and a short coastline along the Venö Sea. The Ven River bisects several towns and provides corridors for transport and irrigation. The climate is temperate maritime, with mild summers and cool winters.

The region developed around medieval market towns and river crossings. A unified regional administration was created in the 19th century during nationwide reforms. In the postwar era, Centralvenösa diversified into light manufacturing, services and tourism.

As of the latest census, Centralvenösa is home to about 210,000 residents. The population is largely Nordmarkian in origin, with local dialects and multilingual workers concentrated in the larger towns of Myrstad and Brunnedal.

The economy centers on agriculture (grain and dairy), forestry, food processing, light manufacturing and tourism. Nature parks, historic towns and cultural routes attract visitors and support rural development.

The region is governed by a regional council elected every four years. The capital is Myrstad, and Centralvenösa is part of Nordmark’s central province.

Culture and transport: Cultural institutions include regional museums and a network of local theaters. Annual events such as the Venö Days festival highlight traditional crafts and music. Transportation comprises a regional rail line, major highways and a small airport at Vikefjord.
