Centerstøbning

Centerstøbning, also known as central casting or center casting, is a process used in metallurgy and manufacturing to create hollow cylindrical objects. This technique involves pouring molten metal into a rotating mold. The centrifugal force generated by the rotation causes the molten metal to be distributed evenly against the inner walls of the mold, creating a solid, hollow casting. As the metal cools and solidifies, the resulting object possesses a uniform wall thickness.
