Canusiums refers to the inhabitants of Canusium, the ancient city known today as Canosa di Puglia in the Apulia region of southern Italy. In Latin, the ethnonym most often used is Canusini, but English-language texts sometimes render the plural as Canusiums. The term Canusiums, when encountered, typically functions as a convenient, though nonstandard, English form for referring to the people of Canusium.

Geographically, the city occupied a strategic position near inland and coastal routes in the southern Italian peninsula, contributing to its regional importance in various periods. Canusium appears in ancient sources as a notable urban center that exercised local influence and interacted with larger polities of the region.
