Cannavacciuolo

Antonino Cannavacciuolo is an Italian chef, restaurateur, and television personality. He was born on August 10, 1975, in Vico Equense, in the province of Naples. Cannavacciuolo gained recognition for his culinary skills and later for his prominent role in Italian television programs focused on food.

His early career was marked by training in various prestigious kitchens, including Il San Pietro di Positano. He opened his first restaurant, Villa Crespi, in Orta San Giulio, Piedmont, in 2003. Villa Crespi quickly earned critical acclaim, and under his leadership, it has been awarded Michelin stars, recognizing its high-quality cuisine and service.

Cannavacciuolo is perhaps most widely known to the public for his television work. He is a regular fixture on popular Italian cooking shows, most notably "MasterChef Italia," where he serves as a judge, and "Cucine da incubo" (Kitchen Nightmares Italia), a local adaptation of the Gordon Ramsay series, where he helps struggling restaurants improve their operations and food. His television presence is characterized by his direct, often emphatic, but ultimately constructive feedback to contestants and restaurant owners.
