CRTnäytön
CRTnäytön is a Finnish term referring to a Cathode Ray Tube display. These displays were the standard for televisions and computer monitors for many decades before the widespread adoption of newer technologies like LCD and OLED. A CRTnäytön works by firing a beam of electrons from an electron gun at the back of the display. This beam is then deflected by magnetic fields, causing it to scan across the screen line by line. The front of the screen is coated with phosphors, which glow when struck by the electron beam. By varying the intensity and color of the electron beam, different images can be created.
The technology, while once ubiquitous, has largely been phased out due to several drawbacks. CRTnäytön devices
