CGContextFillPath

CGContextFillPath is a Core Graphics function used to fill the current path in a graphics context with the color defined by the context’s current fill state. The operation applies the nonzero winding-number rule to determine which regions of the path are inside and should be painted. After the fill is performed, the current path is cleared from the context.

Usage context and behavior: You create or obtain a path (for example, by adding segments to the context with path commands or by creating a CGPath and attaching it with CGContextAddPath), set the fill color and any relevant graphics state (such as alpha or patterns), and then call CGContextFillPath. The fill color, transformation matrix, and other graphics state values in effect in the context determine the final result. The function fills the interior of the path as defined by the current path in user space and paints it into the current drawing destination.

Relationship to other path operations: CGContextFillPath specifically fills the current path and clears it afterward. If you need to both fill and stroke in a single operation, you can use other workflows such as CGContextDrawPath with an appropriate drawing mode (for example, kCGPathFill or kCGPathFillStroke), which provides more control over how the path is rendered.
