CDPSE

The Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer, or CDPSE, is a professional certification offered by ISACA, a global association that focuses on IT governance, assurance, security, and risk. The CDPSE certification is designed for IT professionals who are involved in the design, implementation, and management of privacy-enhancing technologies and controls within an organization. It validates an individual's ability to translate privacy requirements into technical solutions and to build privacy into systems and processes from the ground up.

The CDPSE exam covers three core domains: Privacy Architecture, Data Lifecycle Management, and Privacy in Technology. Candidates are assessed on their knowledge of privacy principles, privacy risk management, data inventory and mapping, data minimization, data retention and disposal, security controls, and the application of privacy technologies. To be eligible for the CDPSE certification, candidates must have a minimum of two years of cumulative work experience in at least one of the three domains.
