CB2selective

CB2selective is a term that refers to compounds or treatments that preferentially interact with the cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2 receptor) over the cannabinoid receptor type 1 (CB1 receptor). The CB1 and CB2 receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system, a complex cell-signaling system involved in regulating a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain sensation, mood, and immune function.
