CASjärjestelmä

CASjärjestelmä is a Finnish data integration system, previously used by various government bodies and other organizations. The name is an abbreviation for the Finnish phrase "asiointiin tark Harrastroietady akbird Kut IsAs mENT sI mes Ein Süin P declar","Literally meaning "Public Inquiry procedure for ministries" in English.

Developed by the Finnish Office for Data Exchange (EDU) in the late 1990s, the system was initially designed to facilitate communication and data exchange between various public bodies, with the main goal of streamlining government services and improving access to information for citizens. CASjärjestelmä enabled the automated exchange and processing of data between agencies, reducing the need for manual data handling and decreasing the risk of errors.

During its operational period, CASjärjestelmä underwent several updates and expansions to enhance its functionality and user experience. It was adopted by various Finnish government departments, as well as some private sector companies. However, the system's use declined in the following years, and it was eventually replaced by newer data exchange platforms.
