Böhme
Böhme is a German surname meaning “Bohemian” or “from Bohemia.” It can refer to several people of German heritage, the most notable being Jakob Böhme (1575–1624), a German mystic and theologian who became an influential figure in early modern Christian mysticism. Born in Silesia, he lived a humble life as a craftsman before experiencing religious visions that led to a prolific body of mystical and theological writings.
