Bukwo
Bukwo is a district in the Eastern Region of Uganda, part of the Sebei sub-region. The district capital is the town of Bukwo. It was established in 2005, when it was carved out of Kapchorwa District as part of national decentralization reforms. The district lies in the foothills of Mount Elgon and features a predominantly highland terrain with a temperate climate and two rainy seasons.
