Buccolabial
Buccolabial refers to the area of the face that encompasses both the cheek (buccal) and the lip (labial). This region is anatomically significant and plays a crucial role in various facial functions. It is involved in the complex movements of speech, eating, and facial expressions. The buccal mucosa, which lines the inside of the cheek, and the labial mucosa, lining the inside of the lips, are distinct yet contiguous tissues.
