BroadwellEP
BroadwellEP is the codename for Intel's Xeon E5-2600 v4 and E5-1600 v4 series of server microprocessors. These processors are based on the Broadwell microarchitecture and are manufactured using a 14 nm fabrication process. They were released in early 2016, succeeding the Haswell-EP generation. BroadwellEP processors feature support for DDR4 memory, offering higher bandwidth and lower power consumption compared to the DDR3 memory used in previous generations. They also include an integrated memory controller and support for Intel's QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) for inter-processor communication.
The BroadwellEP lineup offers a range of core counts, typically from 4 up to 22 cores per
