Brasilienwachs

Brasilienwachs is a natural wax derived from the leaves of the carnauba palm tree (Copernicia prunifera), a plant native to northeastern Brazil. The wax is harvested by scraping the waxy coating from the palm leaves. This coating is a protective layer that the plant produces to prevent water loss in its arid environment.

The extracted wax is a hard, brittle, and yellowish material. It is known for its high melting point, excellent gloss, and good film-forming properties. These characteristics make Brasilienwachs a versatile ingredient in various applications.
