Overview: Botnetinu envisions thousands to millions of infected devices, including IoT endpoints, mobile devices, and traditional computers, united under a distributed or hybrid command-and-control (C2) structure. Instead of a single central server, control channels may rely on peer-to-peer links, fast flux DNS, or covert traffic patterns to complicate takedown efforts.

Infection and spread: In this conceptual model, devices are compromised through phishing, drive-by downloads, malware-laden software updates, supply-chain compromises, or brute-force attacks against devices with weak credentials. Once enrolled, an endpoint receives tasks and participates in coordinated actions according to predefined roles.
