Borbones

Borbones is a fictional archipelago located in the western seas of the continent of Eldara. The cluster comprises about two dozen islands laid out in a rough crescent and includes volcanic highlands, coral reefs, and extensive mangrove swamps. The total land area is around 1,800 square kilometers. The climate is tropical maritime, with a wet season from May to October and a dry season from November to April; strong sea winds influence settlement patterns and agriculture. Biodiversity includes coral reefs, sea turtles, and several endemic bird species, with protected areas established on several islands.

The name Borbones derives from the local Borbu language, meaning "stone islands." The islands were first recorded
