Bondserien is the term used in German-language contexts to refer to the James Bond franchise, a long-running media property built around the fictional British secret agent James Bond. The series encompasses both Ian Fleming’s literary works and the subsequent film and audiovisual productions that have popularized the character since the early 1960s. While Fleming wrote 12 novels and two non-fiction works featuring Bond between 1953 and 1966, the most enduring form of the Bondserien has been its cinema iterations produced primarily by Eon Productions.
