Bondability

Bondability refers to the ability of a material or substance to form a strong and lasting adhesive bond with another material. This property is crucial in various fields, including manufacturing, construction, and repair, where the integrity and performance of joined components depend on the quality of the bond.

Several factors influence bondability. Surface energy, or the cohesive energy present at the surface of a material, plays a significant role.
