Bolygókerekes

Bolygókerekes is a Hungarian term that translates to "planetary gear" in English. It refers to a type of gear system that consists of one or more external gears, called planet gears, that rotate on their own axes while also revolving around a central, larger gear, known as the sun gear. Typically, the planet gears are mounted on a carrier, which also rotates.

The primary advantage of a planetary gear system is its high torque capacity and compact size for a given gear ratio. This is due to the way the load is distributed among multiple planet gears, rather than being concentrated on a single set of meshing teeth as in a conventional gear train. Planetary gears can achieve a wide range of gear ratios by varying the number of sun gears, planet gears, and ring gears (an internal gear that meshes with the planet gears).

These gear systems are widely used in various applications where high torque, compactness, and efficiency are crucial.
