Bolthandling
Bolthandling refers to the operation of manually manipulating a bolt action firearm. This process involves the user working the bolt handle to extract a spent cartridge from the chamber and load a fresh one. Typically, the bolt handle is lifted upwards, then pulled rearward to cycle the action. This extracts the spent casing and moves it out of the rifle, often to the side. Once the bolt is fully retracted, it is pushed forward, pushing a new cartridge from the magazine into the chamber. Finally, the bolt handle is lowered to lock the action, seating the bolt and preparing the firearm to be fired again.
