BmaxKd is not a widely standardized term in biochemistry or pharmacology; it is commonly used to refer to the ratio of Bmax to Kd, two core parameters in receptor–ligand binding analyses. Bmax represents the maximum binding capacity of a system, i.e., the total concentration or number of binding sites available for a ligand. Kd, the dissociation constant, reflects the affinity of the ligand for those sites, defined as the concentration at which half of the binding sites are occupied.
