Birinchisi

Birinchisi is a traditional Uzbek and Central Asian dish that originates from the Fergana Valley, a region shared by Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. The name "birinchisi" translates to "the first one" in Uzbek, referring to the dish being traditionally served as the first course in a meal. It is a type of pilaf, a staple in Central Asian cuisine, characterized by its unique preparation method and distinct flavor profile.
