Biomechanicalists

A biomechanicist is a scientist who studies the mechanical principles that govern the movement and structure of living organisms. They also contribute to fields like ergonomics, designing workspaces and tools to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

The work of biomechanicalists is crucial for advancing our understanding of biological function and improving human and animal health and performance. They use a variety of tools and techniques, including motion capture systems, force plates, electromyography, and computational modeling, to collect and analyze data.
