These vectors capture semantic relationships between the items they represent. Items that are similar in meaning or context will have vectors that are closer to each other in this space.

The process of creating embeddings typically involves training a model on a large corpus of data. For instance, in natural language processing, word embeddings are generated by analyzing how words appear in relation to each other. Common algorithms like Word2Vec, GloVe, and FastText learn these vector representations by predicting context words or the target word based on its context.

For example, finding synonyms for a word can be achieved by locating vectors that are close to the target word's vector.
