Beschreibungsmodell
A Beschreibungsmodell, or descriptive model, is a conceptual framework used to represent and explain a particular phenomenon, system, or process. Its primary purpose is to capture the essential characteristics and relationships within the subject matter, making it easier to understand, analyze, and communicate. Descriptive models are not concerned with prescriptive or normative aspects; they focus on "what is" rather than "what should be" or "how to do."
These models can take various forms, including textual descriptions, diagrams, mathematical equations, or even physical representations.
In different fields, Beschreibungsmodelle serve distinct roles. In computer science, they might describe data structures or
